| Fiberoptic temperature sensors of different manufacturers use opitcal fiber ends usually treated with special high complexity. These fiber ends provide for example miniature Fabry-Perrot-Cavities, GaAs chips or Bragg gratings inside the fiber.
All these variants have a very complex expenditure in manufacturing and they are mechanical sensitive in use. There’s an end of it!
Fiberoptic temperature sensors of getSens.com are now available as nano-powder-version. Nano-scaled GaAs powder adhered to glue substitudes the previous GaAs chip. Due to light scattering of the particles the optical response is similar to the one of the crystal.

Advantage:
- better rugged sensors
- no fall off for GaAs-Chip
- repair of probe by customer possible
- diameter of sensor tip 0,5mm
All one channel and multi-channel cascaded measuring instruments of the getTemp series are available by now with our Nano probes TS-Nano.
Further properties:
- probe length max. 2m
- response time compared with standard probes (TK2) a little bit longer, approx. 2s
- temperature range up to 200°C
